Welcome to Career and Professional Development (CPD)

Our team delivers innovative excellence in three key areas: Career Development, Strategic Employer Partnerships and Experiential Learning.

The team supports BCom, MBA, MFin and MSc in eHealth students in securing summer, co-op, internship and new grad job opportunities during their full-time studies at DeGroote.

The CPD team facilitates a variety of inspirational and educational learning forums for students to equip themselves with the skills and tools necessary to confidently promote and market their brand to employers for summer and co-op/internship employment as well as post-graduation careers.

Students have access to one-on-one coaching sessions, group workshops and roundtables; alumni connections and networking events, corporate partner information sessions, specialized industry specific training and online career tools.

Our team is also the primary point of contact for employer partners seeking to target student talent at DeGroote. We are committed to supporting our employer partners in developing and executing their campus recruitment strategies. In addition, our team provides full recruitment logistical support.
